At BBLC, we aim to maintain our tuition costs towards the lower end of the spectrum while still offering families high-quality care. We are aware that childcare can be expensive, so we do our best to offer our families exceptional care at reasonable cost. We also accept POC, a state subsidy granted to qualifying families based on family size and income. We transitioned too POC+ in 2022 to ensure we maintain the quality of care we passional want to offer. of community. The POC+ cost is a fee per week that we collect in order to compensate for POC rate given by the state of Delaware.

As a former elementary school teacher, my passion has always been for earlier learners. After having children of my own and struggling to find a childcare facility that could educate my little ones and love them, it seemed impossible to find. I then made it my mission to create a center I wished was open when my children were little ones. I made that dream a reality when I opened the doors of BBLC in Newark, DE, with my husband. After a few short years, we expanded and opened BBLC2. The pride and joy I feel in being able to offer a safe, loving, and educational center to my community is beyond words.
